The problem hardly anyone talks about
“They'll grow out of it.” The line almost every parent hears.
From the GP, from friends, sometimes from your own mum. But if your gut tells you your child isn't sleeping well at night, it's worth taking a closer look.
The 2am moment
You're standing in the bedroom doorway at night: head bent, mouth open, snoring like an adult. Your gut tells you something isn't right.
Dark circles & tired mornings
Your child wakes up exhausted, grumpy and struggles to get going – even though they actually slept long enough.
“They'll grow out of it”
Many parents hear this. But hardly anyone looks at what – and how – your child actually lies on every night.
Tablet, phone, homework
Hours a day with the head bent forward – and at night a pillow that's too high pushes the head into exactly the same position again.
What hardly anyone knows
An adult pillow is simply too high for children.
Adult pillows are built for broad adult shoulders. On them, a child's head usually lies far too high – and the neck stays bent all night.
The explanation behind it
Why the wrong pillow is stealing your child's sleep.
Often it isn't down to your child – but to what they're lying on.
-
The problem with normal pillows
A normal pillow is too high for children and pushes the head forward. The chin slips towards the chest and the neck stays tense all night.
-
Restlessness instead of deep sleep
In this position your child keeps searching for a comfortable spot, tosses and turns and struggles to settle.
-
The solution: our kids contour
The hollow holds the head, the neck support carries the neck. Head and spine stay in line – so the neck can relax.
-
Calmer nights
Give your child a few nights to get used to the new pillow – then it simply becomes part of their bedtime.
The pillow test for tonight
Take a look while your child is asleep:
- Has the chin slipped towards the chest?
- Is the head much higher than the shoulders?
- Is the head bent to one side?
If any of these apply, the pillow isn't right for your child.

Still have questions?
Everything parents want to know before ordering.
Does the pillow help with snoring or mouth breathing?
Our pillow is a comfort pillow, not a medical device. It makes sure the head and neck rest in a natural position instead of bending forward. If your child snores regularly or almost always breathes through their mouth, please have it checked by your GP.
What age is the pillow suitable for?
For children aged 1 to 16. There are three sizes: H1 for 1–3 years (50 × 30 cm, 2 cm front / 4.5 cm back), H2 for 3–8 years (50 × 30 cm, 4 cm / 6 cm) and H3 for 8–16 years (54 × 32 cm, 6 cm / 9 cm).
Which size should I choose?
Go by your child's age. In the offer, the sizes are named after the lower side of the pillow: “2 cm (1–3 Years)” (H1), “4 cm (3–8 Years)” (H2) and “6 cm (8–16 Years)” (H3).
Is the pillow suitable for side sleepers?
Yes. The contour supports both back and side sleepers.
What is the pillow made of?
Inside it's memory foam that adapts to the shape of the head, outside a breathable, air-permeable surface.
What should I keep in mind with young children?
Check the pillow for damage before first use and inspect it regularly. Make sure young children have a safe sleeping environment – adult supervision is recommended at all times.
